Brought my BMW in to get checked out due to a hard downshift on the transmission. After the company had it for a week I was told that solenoids were replaced as well as new seals put in. However after picking it up the vehicle was still having the same issue. I was told to bring it back in again and I left it for another 5 days for them to come back and tell me there was no issue. So I picked it up from the shop and begin my journey home on the transmission failed completely. At this point I didn't see any reason to contact European Motors service center as they weren't able to figure it out in the first place. I took it to my own shop in Olympia Washington to find out that nothing was done to it and gear oil was placed in my transmission. Clearly the worst service I have ever experienced not only that but they ruined my car and which I had to pay out of pocket to get it repaired. After further inspection by my mechanic it was found out that some of the noise were not only not replaced but we're never touched and the fluid in my transmission was indeed gear oil. I wouldn't take my son's tricycle to these guys much less a vehicle.
After performing research we found your vehicle. It was under the selling dealerships name. As noted and explained to you verbally. Your transmission was in need of replacement. We performed 2 transmission fluid services and updated the software as per the technical service bulletin published by BMW. As you were not our client in regards to the repair of the vehicle, we had no control of the length of the services we could perform. That was limited to what the dealership would cover and pay for. We are very sorry for the circumstance you found yourself in. This how ever should not reflect our business or practices. I strongly urge you to contact the dealership and discuss the matter with them. I will do my part and bring this to their attention on your behalf. Please feel free to contact me at any point. I hope to have some help for you with this issue shortly.
